This Schalloch Cajon has a front playing surface made of Makah burlwood that not only produces warm bass tones and sharp slaps but also is strikingly ornate. Tension screws allow you to adjust the face for varied slap sounds. The main body is made of Siam oak, which creates a strong shell with good projection. The strong rubber feet keep the drum off the floor for freer shell resonance and also serve to keep the drum from sliding as you play.
