Yamaha has put their decades of design expertise into 2 new series of single and double kick pedals. Each of their new bass drum pedals feature a heavy-duty angled floor base plate, horizontal frame brace, quick-release hoop clamp, spring lock system, independent footboard adjustment and include a gig bag. The excellent 9410 series pedals are direct drive while the 9310 Series feature Double Chain Drive with an optional strap.

<b>Review of Attributes:</b><br/>I normally use yamaha belt drive double pedals but the direct drive is much faster then any pedal I have used including the belt drive.<br/><br/><b>Product Virtues:</b><br/>Every pedal from now and on will be a yamaha on my drumset<br/><br/><b>Value:</b><br/>yes top quality product<br/><br/><b>Drumability and Worthiness:</b><br/>I looked at the direct drive assembly and found it kinda interesting and really wanted to try one.<br/><br/><b>Timbre and playability:</b><br/>use the hammer style beaters<br/><br/><b>Manufacturer Assistance and Helpfulness:</b><br/>so far good, I havent had the hardware give me any problems so there hasnt been any need for support or repair.<br/><br/><b>Overview of this percussion item:</b><br/>couldnt be happier<br/><br/>
