While both Starclassic Maple Series and Artwood Series snare drums are made from premium select maple, they differ in sound, feel and response. Artwood snare drums use a 7 ply 6mm shell and utilize 2.3mm thick triple flanged hoops. Artwood Series snare drums are available in either Super Maple (SMP) or Caramel Sunburst (CSB) finishes.
