Product Virtues: very rugged, obviously very durable...you could TRY to break these and you'd be beat down like a little girl. Value: i was surprised to get the value pack version, which came with extra beaters (wooden, rubber), high tension springs, and a key chain. Drumability and Worthiness: If you're serious about double bass and you want your legs to be justified for their work I'd strongly recommend the cobras. Timbre and playability: The feel and accuracy of the iron cobras are amazing. Combine that with the durability and you'll quickly understand why I gave it all 10's...i've only had this pedal for a few days and I can already feel my double bass coming out more accurately and this pedal runs smoother than anything i've ever played on.
