Remo's popular PinStripe heads are made from two plies of Remo clear film and bonded at the collar to dampen both high overtones and overall resonance. The result is a very focused, low pitched sound with moderate attack and response characteristics that is ideal for creating a deeper, fatter, controlled drum sound in a variety of studio and live drumming situations.

But they hold true to tone and take the punishment.<br/><br/><b>Value:</b><br/>Best heads I've used. Cost a tad more than some, but worth it.<br/><br/><b>Drumability and Worthiness:</b><br/>These heads are too coo on account of their rainbow/weird light reflection which is seen at certain angles.<br/><br/><b>Timbre and playability:</b><br/>Phat! That's right, PHAT! Deep. Rich. I use ZeroRings to help control the amazing amount of rolloff these heads can produce.<br/><br/><b>Manufacturer Assistance and Helpfulness:</b><br/>No need for support, but Remo is still in the biz, so you figure.<br/><br/><b>Overview of this percussion item:</b><br/>Like I said. These heads are durable. I should replace my snare head, but you guys don't have any batter heads for sale. Bad!<br/><br/>
